We'll meet in Chinatown and shop at our favorite stores to get all the ingredients to cook Shrimp Tom Kha Goong, Chicken Green Curry, Coconut Rice, Pad Thai, and Green Papaya Salad.

Yes, we should all be eating less meat, but when that craving strikes and you spend some money on a nice steak, you don't want to mess it up. This class focuses on how to sauté meat and make a pan sauce. We'll also make a salad with vinaigrette, Roasted Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts and for dessert, caramelized Pears with ice cream.

In our Secrets class, we'll prepare a 3-course meal that highlights these tips. Which pans, knives, gadgets do you really need? How should you stock your pantry? How can you organize your fridge like a chef? What can you prepare ahead? Timing- the bane of every home cook's mealtime: what can hold or be reheated? What can't? How can you tell if something must be thrown out or is merely under a controlled fermentation?
